Thankfullnes Day 9,10,11 AND Book Review

We've been busy the past couple days!
Wednesday we went to the North American Livestock Show. It was fun and we all had a nice day! We went with our besties! lol

Yesterday I was at work all day and the hubs had homework up to his ears so I had no time to blog but I do this morning.

Day 9- I am thankful for the ability to read. It is a skill that most people take for granted. It is sad to think that some people never learn or have no one to teach them. I am thankful I live somewhere that teaches us to read.

Day 10- I am thankful that I live in a country where I am FREE! I have the freedom to choose to do whatever course in life I want. I am free to go to school, church, love and so much more without is someone telling me it has to be done a certain way. And as woman I am even more thankful that I can do anything a man can (for the most part lol). I do not have to wear certain clothes or be reminded in a daily life that I am subservient to men. I am free to choose and I am so thankful.

Day 11- I am thankful for our troops! Past and present. They all have an inner courage that many of us do not. They are willing to fight for our country at the highest cost. They are true heroes and I am thankful for the sacrifices to keep America safe.

*Book Review

I finished Safe Haven Tuesday night. The more I read the more I had to keep reading and the ending was like what??? There was a twist and the las half was more like a thriller! It was a love story but it was kind of a love story.

I dont think I could would have been as understanding as Carly but you will know what I am talking about once you read it.

It is about Katie who moves to a nowhere small town and it starting over. There she meets Alex and the have a weird relationship at first then they realize that they are falling for each other but Katie has a secret that threatens to pull them apart AND an ending that pulls everything together but is touching as well.

BUT you must read! I loved it and I am going to the BF's house tomorrow so I'm going to rad her book collection.

Have a great Veteran's Day!
