I love Scentsy!!

I had been so excited to go to Lexington, KY for the Scentsy Spring Sprint with my BF! We left Tuesday after I got off work. Then we took the worst road ever to drive at night..while it was raining to get to Olive Garden in Lexington then to our hotel..ugh but it was worth it. We had some fun girl time at the hotel.

Wednesday was the big day we had been waiting for! We got there about 40 minutes before it started. We were registered, got all our FREE product and took a trip throught the Scentsy Success store all with in an hour and a half. So with some time to kill before the conference part started we went to the Body Museum at the convention center. It was amazing! We saw every part of the human body in its real form. No plastic pieces they were all real! Which that in itself also made the museum very creepy...but still very interesting! I also touched a human brain...ha not many can say that! lol

The speeches made during the conference were great! They talked about all the new and exciting brands and products coming soon to Scentsy! I cant wait! ALSO the Owners/CEO of the company were there! Him and his wife are so nice and we got to meet them! It was great to see them stay so everyone could talk and get a picture with them!

On our way back we stumbled across this pizza place called Mellow Mushroom. We were actually on our way for a second dinner at Olive Garden but we changed our minds to try this place. The pizza was soooo good! It was full of hippies and probably pot smokers BUT they all were so nice! It makes you wonder if some people need to smoke a little you know what and quit being so uptight! At least thats the thought that went through my head! lol

Tonight the hubs and I are going to a charity trivia pursuit contest. I am not sure what all this means but some friends from church invited us to be on their team and it was for a good cause so we decided why not!

Someone has a birthday...

Today's the hubby's birthday! He is 27 and says he is an old man...lol!
I made him a homemade yellow cake with homemade chocolate icing. It was my first attempt and it came out great!



His favorite dinner is steak and potatoes so I made steak and twice baked potatoes!

On a side note we have finished the last episode of the final season of Smallville! We are sad about it being over so we are going to watch all the seasons over again! lol

Our Weekend

Saturday we celebrated my hubby's birthday (but its not til the 19th).

He has a hobby of making model cars and tractors and taking them apart and painting them and doing all sorts of crazy stuff with them and every year around his birthday there is a toy show about 40 minutes from us. So since last year we have started going to the show and spend all day with our friends doing everything he wants to do lol!

He enjoys it and has fun! We went to dinner at Longhorn and it was so good! Then we went to Bass Pro then to a gun store (again he gets to do what he wants lol) by the time we got close to home everyone wanted to rent a movie so we did and ordered pizza and everyone came over and stayed longer.

It was fun to have everyone around! And I did make a mental note to take pics but I ended up forgetting...shame on me but I was going to make the effort! lol

Today we went to church then watched football all day! Next weeks championship games are going to be good. I hope the Ravens tear into the Patriots (I cannot stand them!!!!) As long as that happens, I will be happy!

And since the Colts..well they did awful this year and that means they wont be anywhere close to the Super Bowl...well it is in Indianapolis...lol anyways I dont really care who wins the Super Bowl as long as the Patriots dont!

Now we are watching our Sunday night shows!

What Ive been up to

It has been over a week since my last post...shame on me!

Last Tuesday I started my new job. I am excited about the opportunities that are there. Everyone has been so nice and friendly at my new job. It feels good to not be "the new girl" but feel like you are part of the team!

I have been working mostly. Nothing too exciting.

Saturday was my BF's little girls bday! It was so much fun to spend it with her. She is always so much fun to be around. I love her so much!

Sunday I went to visit another BF in Kentucky because she was leaving to her parents for a few weeks then to Colorado to set up her home for when her husband comes home from his deployment. It was sad to say goodbye but she will be back this summer, so it was just a see you later.

Today I was off so my and another bestie went shopping in Louisville. We ate at the Olive Garden and then went to the mall and found some good deals!

Right now I am waiting on the hubs to get home from school. He's bringing supper then we are going to watch one of our favorite shows...Smallville!

I dont know how many know what it is but its like the story before Superman. It may sound a little silly to some but we LOVE it..so we are catching up on the final season. This is all we will be watching til we are finished... weare OBSESSED!
