5 months

Wow

My baby is 5 months old.

Which is a month from being six months, which is a half a year.

That means she is almost one.

Silly logic yes, BUT that what I have been thinking about. It is so exciting to see her do new things but she is getting bigger too.

My FOUR month old!

Last Thursday my baby turned four months! Each month goes by faster and faster. I still can't believe you are mine!

What your doing now

You love music and when we sing

You scream alot! But it's a play scream

You are a champion eater

You are still a good sleeper but the past few weeks not like you used to

I look at you sometimes and I could just cry because I love you so much! I can't put into words how I feel. My favorite part of everyday is the time we share as a family. 

I can't imagine what new stuff will be doing next month!

My sweet baby

This post is so I can remember yesterday. Yesterday was the first day you laughed! You have been squeezing up to this point but yesterday you laughed and it sounded like Gus Gus from Cinderella. It was the sweetest sound I have ever heard!

My 3 month old!

I can't believe she is already 3 months old! This month she has grown so much. Another big change was me going back to work :(. I never imagined how much I would enjoy spending all day every day with my baby. She is so much fun, even when she has her sassy pants on lol. Anyways here are some of her milestones or favorites from this month 

At 3 months 

*You hate your car seat

* You like to sit up in bumbo seat

*You are nosey! you prefer to look around than stay in stroller which makes it interesting when im shopping lol

*You are a chatter box. Your words are the sweetest things I hear.

*you are still a maniac over your fists

*you are still a snuggle bug

* you can talk yourself to sleep!

* You blow lots of spit bubbles

*You are miss sassy pants

* You are starting to get the idea of grabbing things and chewing on them. 

* I know you dont know what kisses are but when we kiss you you open your mouth like you know! So we will say you do! 

You amaze us everyday and each day we love you more and more!

My Sweet Two Month Old!

My baby is already two months old! She is the best thing to happen to my husband and I. Looking back at the first month, it was full of craziness, sleepless nights, and just getting the hang of the whole mom thing!

Everyday we love you more and more everyday! We can't imagine our lives without our sweet baby!

6 weeks!

Today my baby is six weeks old! I am so thankful that I don't have to go back to work for another six weeks. There is no way I could have left her now to back. I now I won't be ready in six weeks but I'll have to.

I just can't imagine not seeing this sweet face every minute of everyday!

But I still have a while go prepare!

Today she got her shots:(

It was terrible. I know she has to have them but I still cried the whole time. I can't take seeing her crying and in pain. 

She has nursed and slept on and off since we have been home and that's ok! I am going to snuggle and cuddle her all day long. :)

Mothers Day and a Graduation!

Yesterday Craig graduated college! It was very exciting and he has worked very hard and we are so proud of him!

It was also Mothers Day! It was such a beautiful day and it was spent with family which made it the best day possible!

Our sweet baby did so good during the ceremony! Her smile is my favorite!

One Month

Yesterday my baby was one month old! It has gone by so quickly!

You are getting bigger everyday! Which is exciting and sad at the same time.

*Three Weeks*

We had a very busy weekend!

Saturday we went on our very first family outing! (Besides church)

We went to Clarksville and the hubs bought a kayak and all the stuff that goes with it. I told him it was partly his graduation present since that will be here in a couple weeks. We went shopping for baby clothes because our little precious is LONG and has a tiny waste so even newborn bottoms are too big for her waste and she needed some pants/jeans of some sort. We found one part of jeggings but I bet that once she gets them on they will be too big for her too! But that is why we found a couple of newborn outfits that should work until she gets bigger. She has so many clothes in other sizes, very cute clothes, she's just too skinny for.

Yesterday we went to church then had a house full of people all day! It is nice to know that she is so loved BUT when your child screams the whole time and you know how to fix her yet don't really know how to tell someone, "hey give her here", so you listen for over an hour in a panic until they leave then after two minutes she is asleep. Anyways she was pooped after all her visitors.

Today she is three weeks old!

*She already looks bigger than last week

*She is still obsessed with her hands!

*you can hold your head up like a champ!

*You are more awake and bright eyed than ever

*You are starting to make noises like you are trying to coo, its kind of like a hum

*You will sleep forever snuggled up to me or your daddy

*I can already tell that buying clothes are for you is going to be hard because you are long and skinny, just like your daddy!

*You try with all your might to get on your side and possibly roll over, but you haven't figured out what to do with your arm but I think soon enough you will figure it out!

*You fight sleep all the time

*You bring so much sunshine to our lives

Today...

Today we had tummy time for the first time and she did so well! She turned her head twice. She is already getting so big :(

* Two weeks*

I was thinking last night that I needed to keep track of all my memories from my sweet baby somewhere I will always know will be around and can go back and read and have forever. So I'm going to blog again! I want to remember all those little moments and remember exactly how I was feeling during those moments. So today I am sharing my two week old baby!

Two weeks ago I was induced around 10:30 am. I was 39 weeks and 4 days. The whole day went by so fast. Before the induction I was already at 6cm so I didn't have too much farther to go. A little after 5:00 I knew it was almost time to push. After the all the nurses came in and the doctor came in I pushed 5 big pushes and out she came!

 

Amelia Sharon Roberts was born at 5:26 pm. 8lbs 15oz, 21 inches. It was the most amazing feeling to finally meet our baby! She didn't really cry, but she was bright eyed and just snuggled on me after she came out, and she had a beautiful head of hair! We had a whole bunch of people there ready to meet our sweet baby and she did so good with everyone. For the most part her birth went pretty smooth. It was a long two days at the hospital. I was ready to get our baby and go home as a family!

 

 

She is a boob baby! It was harder at first than I thought. She latched well but is a super sucker, but after a week it wasn't that bad after all, just had to stick with it! Her first week went by well. We were all just learning a routine and what all the baby needs. My husband was able to stay home during the first week which was great!

This past week has went by so fast. My mom came last week to help me out which was such a blessing! Now its just the two of us while the hubby is working and going to school during the week.

 

AT 2 WEEKS OLD

 

*You love to eat

 

*You love to snuggle and cuddle

 

*You look so much like your daddy

 

*You have my nose, still not sure who's lips you have yet

 

*You have not lost any of your hair, YAY

 

*You love sucking on your fist, thumb or fingers, whichever you can get in your mouth

 

*You REALLY love to be held, especially when sleeping

 

*You are getting too long for your newborn sleepers

 

*You lay on your play mat all by yourself, already doing big girl things :/

 

*You smile in your sleep and it is my favorite thing to see

 

It makes me a little sad to think that you will never be 2 weeks old again :( But you are growing and you are healthy and that makes me happy!
